QA Automation/SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test)

ArtificialSeed has an ambitious product development plan and we are looking for a strong Software Development Engineer in Test to share their expertise and help with our platform development.

Tech Stack: Python+Pytest / GoLang, Allure, Git, SQL.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop testing practices;
  • Designing and implementing automated testing pipelines and writing automated tests for a system based on module architecture in a complex and technical field;
  • Maintain a test framework and automated tests (Pytest + Allure);
  • Create and update microservice stubs for the testing environment;
  • Update test documentation and knowledge base;
  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure effective coverage of services/applications with automated tests - integration, API, performance;
  • Report identified issues, compile test reports, and create Jira tickets;
  • Participate in daily team meetings;
  • Overall you will be responsible for building the testing framework and processes from scratch.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in automating testing of backend services;
  • Knowledge of the software development life cycle, testing methodologies, and test design techniques;
  • Proficient in Python/Pytest;
  • Experience with web services, developing backend services, using CI/CD tools for testing, Git;
  • Understanding the client-server architecture of applications and network interactions;
  • A clear understanding of the principles of microservices testing;
  • Basic knowledge of SQL.

It would be a plus if you had:

  • Knowledge of GoLang and a desire to learn more about it;
  • Experience with FastAPI;
  • Experience working with blockchain;
  • Experience with Docker.
